Cem Öztürk Elected as Chairperson of the AIFD Board of Directors

Cem Öztürk, President of Sanofi Eurasia Region, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of AIFD which is comprised of 36 member companies creating value for the Turkish healthcare ecosystem.
Cem Öztürk, who previously served as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the AIFD an organization operating with the objective of leading the development of a dynamic pharmaceutical industry by enabling access to innovative medicines and treatments on a timely and sustainable manner and increasing the global competitiveness of our country in the field of medical/pharmaceutical Research and Development. Cem Öztürk was elected Chairperson during the ordinary board meeting held on January 3, taking over the role from Dr. Mete Hüsemoğlu, who successfully chaired the AIFD Board of Directors during the periods of 2016–2018 and 2019–2025.
