AIFD delegation led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Mete Hüsemoğlu visits Minister of Development Lütfi Elvan
An AIFD delegation led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Mete Hüsemoğlu visited Minister of Development Lütfi Elvan. The visit took place at a time when preparations are underway for developing the 11th Development Plan, to voice again AIFD’s intention and preparedness to work in the ad hoc committees. We also expressed our opinion that the most valuable contribution that AIFD members can deliver for our country would be to enhance access to innovative medicines and collaborate with government and academic institutions to advance pharmaceutical R&D, mainly by clinical trials.
We are opening a debate on the developments in the pharmaceutical industry, and issues and opportunities, with EFPIA, PhRMA and public stakeholders in an important international meeting of the pharmaceutical industry, which is assigned strategic priority in development programs.
